Srinagar, Jan 04: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive and J&K Core Group member, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi on Saturday said there is an increasing public trust in the party’s development model.
She said this while organising an Active Membership Conclave here, drawing participation from hundreds of active members from the Zadibal and Khanyar Assembly segments. During the event, she presented the active membership forms to the party’s Membership Incharges — Bilal Parray and Arif Raja, alongside BJP Srinagar President Ashok Bhat.
In her address, Dr Darakhshan praised the active participation of party members from the local assembly segments and expressed optimism that many of these new members would emerge as future leaders in Kashmir. She acknowledged the efforts of the BJP membership team, commending their dedication to enhancing the party’s grassroots presence in the region.
Speaking to the media persons, Dr Andrabi highlighted the enthusiastic public response to the BJP’s ongoing multi-tier membership drive, particularly in the older city areas. “It is heartening to see a significant number of people associating themselves with the good governance model of Prime Minister Modi,” she said, adding that the active participation seen during this phase of the membership drive demonstrates a growing strength for the BJP at the grassroots level in Kashmir. She expressed confidence that the party would continue to resonate with the local population.
