Jammu, Apr 04: Apni Party ST Wing Provincial President, Jammu, Choudhary Shabir Kohli on Thursday demanded a revamp of road connectivity in Shibba Panchayat in Nagrota.
As per the press release, the ST wing organized a meeting of the people at Shibba Panchayat in which threadbare discussions were held regarding the existing developmental issues.
During the meeting, Kohli expressed his concern regarding underdevelopment in the Panchayat where the road connectivity is in bad condition that needs to be improved.
He said the road infrastructure ensures further development and provides basic amenities. However, the roads are not properly constructed, which has left the area undeveloped.
Shabir demanded that the authorities should construct the approach road towards the Panchayat which can be helpful for improving the basic amenities.
“The people have complaints about irregular drinking water and unscheduled power cuts,” he said.
The Apni Party leader highlighted his concern over the “failure” of the authorities to help the locals get basic constitutional rights.
Referring to the government ration, he appealed to the CAPD authorities to ensure the availability of ration in the concerned depots. The meeting was also attended by Latief Choudhary, Fareed Alam, and others.
