Anantnag, July 06: The Anantnag Police have demonstrated unwavering commitment to ensuring the safe and smooth passage of Amarnath Yatra pilgrims from Nunwan to the Holy Cave, nestled in the majestic Himalayan Mountains.

The Police teams have been providing unparalleled support to yatris, assisting them with carrying luggage, offering medical aid, and providing relief from suffocation and tiredness.

At Panjtarni, the Anantnag Police have been distributing free water bottles to quench the thirst of pilgrims, ensuring their journey remains comfortable. This act of service and compassion has made the journey a memorable and spiritual experience for many.

In a recent incident, a yatri reported a lost bag to the Police Post Nunwan. The Police team swiftly traced and returned the bag, leaving the yatri overwhelmed with gratitude for their prompt and efficient action.

Additionally, the Anantnag Police provided transportation assistance to senior citizens traveling to the Langer area, deploying a Police vehicle to transport the elderly yatris over a distance of 2 kilometers.
