Srinagar, Jan 08: In an administrative reshuffle, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, IAS, Director Sericulture Development Department, J&K, has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Additional Director, Sericulture Development Department, Kashmir. He will also exercise the Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) powers of the post until further orders.
Simultaneously, Abdul Rehman Bhat, In-charge Principal of Sericulture Training Institute, Srinagar, has been transferred and appointed as In-charge District Sericulture Officer (DSO) for Bandipora, according to an order issued by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
This decision relieves Dr Inayat Saleem Fazili of the additional charge of the post. As an interim measure, Khursheed Ahmad Peer, In-charge DSO Ganderbal, will handle the DDO powers of DSO Bandipora alongside his existing duties until further notice.
This order has been issued in the interest of the administration and is effective immediately.
