Srinagar, May 10: Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian President Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safavi, Saturday while welcoming the Indo-Pak decision of ceasefire, said that such a decision will at least provide a huge sigh of relief to the people on both sides of Line of Control (LoC).
Reacting to the US President Donald Trumps’s announcement, Aga Hassan welcomed the decision of India and Pakistan for de-escalation and follow ceasefire in letter and spirit. Aga Hassan said that such a decision will at least provide a huge sigh of relief to the people on both sides of LoC, who otherwise become the first causality of the border hostilities between Indian and Pakistani troops.
Aga Syed Hassan said that Delhi and Islamabad should resolve their matters through bilateral dialogues and discussions. It is also a fact that war is not a solution to any issue—especially in the presence of nuclear weapons, India and Pakistan cannot afford a war.”
