PAHALGAM, AUG 08: To assess the arrangements and facilities for the smooth progress of the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra, Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, undertook visits to the Nunwan and Chandanwari Base Camps.
During the visit, Advisor Bhatnagar took stock fo the facilities available to the pilgrims, encompassing lodging, medical services, transportation, and security provisions.
In his interactions with officers at the base camps, the Advisor underscored the importance of collaborative efforts between governmental agencies and local authorities to provide an uninterrupted and seamless experience to the pilgrims. He conveyed his appreciation for the unwavering dedication exhibited by officials and local communities in ensuring a secure and memorable journey for all participants.
Advisor Bhatnagar emphasized the spiritual significance that the Shri Amarnathji Yatra holds for millions of devotees. He stressed the collective responsibility of ensuring a safe and secure journey to pilgrims.
Reiterating the government’s unwavering commitment to the well-being of the devotees, the Advisor noted the substantial participation witnessed during the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra, with pilgrims converging from various corners of the country to seek blessings at the sacred Amarnath cave.
