ADDC Kupwara reviews status of Kisan Khidmat Ghars, progress of HADP

Kupwara, July 17: In order to assess the current status of Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) and the implementation of schemes under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), a meeting of concerned officers was held under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kupwara, Mufti Fareed-ud-Din at Kupwara Thursday.As per a statement issued here, during the meeting, ADDC emphasised the critical role of KKGs as one-stop centres for farmers to access agriculture-related services and information. He directed officers to ensure that all KKGs across the district are fully functional, adequately staffed, and equipped with necessary infrastructure to serve the farming community effectively. ADDC also reviewed progress on various components of the HADP, including farmer registration under the DAKSH Kisan portal, dissemination of scheme benefits, and outreach activities being conducted by Krishi Udyamis and field extension staff. Officers were instructed to accelerate awareness and mobilisation efforts at the grassroots level to ensure 100 percent farmer coverage under the HADP initiatives.
