The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz today inspected the Record Room and Jamabandi Digitization Centre Chitragam in the district.
During his inspection, ADC said that digitization is imperative for streamlining the revenue records and making revenue records easily accessible to the public through online based platforms.
The ADC said this during his inspection to the Revenue Record Room established at Village Chitragam Shopian. He reviewed the progress on implementation of the Land Records Modernization Programme.
On this occasion, a detailed resume of digitization programmes was given to the ADC including safe custody of revenue documents, data entry, and digitization of maps, Jamabandi and updation with latest mutation records.
