Baramulla, Apr 18: The National conference unit of Baramulla on Thursday held a mega workers convention at Uri Baramulla attended by thousands of workers, hundreds of new political workers joined NC on the occasion.
The worker convention was chaired in presence of Dr Sajjad Shafi Uri district incharge National conference Baramulla, Tehsil incharge NC Uri, block incharge and youth president and other party workers.
Addressing media on the sidelines of a convention Dr. Sajjad Shafi said that the workers are enthusiastic about voting after the party decided that Omar Abdullah would contest the Lok Sabha elections from the Baramulla constituency.
He further said that the other political parties in the region are making strategies defeating NC by extending support to each other, but the National Conference is well aware of it and their voters know it better whom they are going to vote for.
“We will fight for the identity of Kashmiri peoples, these A,B or C teams will not affect the NC anymore,” he added.
