Srinagar, Apr 09: Director Sericulture J&K, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat (IAS) has extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the people of J&K in general and silkworm rearers, farmers, youth and employees in particular.
Bhat has expressed his sincere wishes for a blessed Eid-ul-Fitr, filled with joy, peace and prosperity for all. “Eid-ul-Fitr stands as a testament to the values of compassion, unity, and goodwill, fostering harmony and solidarity among communities. Besides, the revered day of Eid-ul-fitr marks the culmination of the holy month of Ramadan,” he said in his message.
Recognising the significant contributions of the silkworm rearing/farmers and youth, who play a pivotal role in the sericulture industry’s growth and sustenance, the Director Sericulture J&K, extended his gratitude and appreciation for their “tireless efforts and dedication”. Their commitment continues to enrich the fabric of Jammu and Kashmir’s sericulture landscape, contributing to its economic and cultural diversity, he said.
Director Ajaz also extended his heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated employees’ community for their “unwavering commitment and service” to the sericulture sector, saying, “Their hard work and professionalism are indispensable in advancing the department’s goals and objectives, thereby fostering sustainable development and growth.”
