Srinagar, Oct 26: Team Makhdoomi XI Srinagar Wednesday lifted the title of RTKT Cricket tournament trophy by defeating 15 Punjab Qamarwari by 5 wickets played at Anjum ground Qamarwari.
Batting first 15 Punjab Qamarwari could score only 132 runs and chasing the target of 133 team Makhdoomi XI did its job comfortably while losing their five (5)wickets and achieved their target in just 17 overs.
Captain Sajad Ahmad known as ‘Sultan’ was given man- of-the-match while man-of-the-series award went to Yawar Bilal from runner up team 15 Punjab.
For team 15 Punjab Latief Ahmad scored 34 runs in 27 balls, Yawar Bilal scored important 31 runs in 18 balls, Uzair Sofi made 25 runs in 29 balls, 16 runs were contributed by skipper batter Umar Khan.
For Makhdoomi Yamin Waja took four wickets, two wickets fell to skipper Sajad Ganaie, two to Faizan while Sameer Bell and Rayees Nazir took one wicket each for the team.
Chasing the target, skipper Sajad Ganaie scored 55 runs, Rameez Beigh 23, and Jahangir Bhat scored 11 runs.
