Ganderbal, Oct 04: Wildlife department captured a Leopard alive in Kundbal Village of Mansbal in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday.
A wildlife official said locals sighted a leopard in Kundbal Village of Ganderbal on Tuesday morning and immediately informed the authorities.
He said after receiving the information, a team of wildlife reached the said area and after hectic efforts with the help of locals leopard was captured alive.
Incharge wildlife Control Room Ganderbal Shabir Ahmad Khan told Rising Kashmir that the Leopard was captured alive . “The leopard would be released in the higher reaches of the district, he said.
