Jammu, Nov 25: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh is set to conduct Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an extensive awareness and outreach program, at four locations across both union territories on November 28, 2023.
The locations include DC Office Reasi, Little Angels Higher Secondary School Kathua, Rangreth Industrial Area Budgam, and Moravian Mission School Karzu Leh. The programs, held in collaboration with ESIC, aim to educate employers and employees about social security provisions, filing grievances, fraud prevention, digital services, and employee rights.
The programs, scheduled for one hour at each venue, will address various aspects of EPFO services and benefits. District Nodal Officers will guide attendees, and the EPFO encourages active participation from subscribers, pensioners, employees’ representatives, and industrial chambers.
EPFO Jammu seeks to provide handholding support to stakeholders, hear their suggestions and grievances, and discuss relevant issues related to EPFO implementation. The program will cover services like enrollment, UAN activation, bank and Aadhaar seeding, online claim filing, e-nominations, e-sign, and ECR filing.
The EPFO has been rendering enhanced social security benefits, such as the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and increased quantum of Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme, 1976, to employees in the Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh since November 2019. It welcomes valuable suggestions and encourages broad-based participation at the Nidhi Aapke Nikat program.
