Army and local Police today rescued 4 persons after they got stuck in river Sindh in Sarbal area of Sonamarg in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Sources told Rising Kashmir that four Srinagar residents had gone Sarbal Sonamarg via Baltal route for Picnic during which they started running their car between the river Sindh and got stuck.
He said a patrolling team of Indian Army from the Battalion deployed at Baltal-Domel for Amarnath Yatra noticed the vehicle in the Sind River.
However, a rescue team of Indian Army along with local police promptly rushed to the spot along with recovery vehicle and equipment and rescued the three pers to safety.
Army employed their JCB and recovery vehicle to retrieve the vehicle from the Sind River safely.
