GDC Frislan defeat GDC Bemina by 3 wickets

Srinagar, Dec 02: In the 4th match of the ongoing Prof Yousuf Memorial Cricket Cup being played at Islamia College Hawal Srinagar, Government Degree College Frislan Kulgam defeated Government Degree College Bemina by 3 wickets in a very close contest.
After winning the toss, Government Degree Frislan Kulgam invited Government Degree College Bemina to bat first and they scored 150 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Suhaib scored 57 runs in 42 balls and Niyaz Ahmad scored 25 runs in 20 balls. Yawar from the opposite team took 2 wickets.
Chasing a stiff target of 151 runs, Government Degree College Frislan Kulgam scored the target of 151 runs in 19.5 overs. Abid scored 42 runs in 21 balls. For Government Degree College Bemina, Ubaid took 3 wickets.
Mr Abid of Government Degree College Frislan Kulgam was adjudged Man of the Match for his good batting performance.
On Saturday, Amar Singh College Srinagar will play against Government Degree College Kangan. The tournament is being organised by the Department of Physical Education, Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar, Kashmir.
