Weatherman on Monday forecast scattered light rain and thunder over Jammu and Kashmir in next 24 hours.
A meteorological department official here told that isolated light rain and thunder was expected for the subsequent two days.
Regarding the mercury, he said, Srinagar recorded a low of 11.8°C against 8.2°C on the previous night.
The temperature was 4.5°C above normal for the summer capital during this time of the year, he said.
