DC Ganderbal approves 348 cases under PM Vishwakarma scheme

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today approved 348 cases under PM Vishwakarma scheme during a meeting of District Level Committee held in the V.C Room of Mini Secretariat, here.

The General Manager, District Industries Centre, Ganderbal, provided an updated list of 348 artisans who have been approved at the district level committee after thorough second-level verification.

The DC undertook a thorough evaluation of the progress in artisan registration, verification processes in rural and urban areas, stakeholder capacity building, and the monitoring and evaluation mechanism for artisans.

 

He emphasized the importance of concerted efforts and creating awareness among masses to maximize the scheme’s impact on the socio-economic development of artisans.
