KPPL Edition-III: Sidharth, Anshul score big fifties as 777 Masters enter final

Jammu, Dec 21: Sidharth Bhat and Anshul scored big half-centuries to guide 777 Masters to a big win over Ace Cricket Club in the semifinals and enter into the finals of the ongoing Kashmiri Pandit Premier League (KPPL) Edition-III, being organized by Lalitaditya Education, Sports and Health Organisation, under the patronage of its President and General Secretary and under the overall supervision of Organisers-Ankur Bagati and Ashish Kachroo at MA Stadium, here.
Earlier, batting first, 777 Masters scored a huge total of 222 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 7 wickets in the process. Sidharth Bhat top scored with a power-packed 81 runs off 58 balls, studded with 12 boundaries, while Anshul contributed brisk 69 runs off 29 balls with 11 fours.
Akshay Koul was the pick of the bowlers from Ace Cricket Club, who took 3 important wickets by conceding 21 runs in his 4 overs, while Suraj Koul claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, Ace Cricket Club bundled out for a paltry total of 106  runs in 15.4 overs, thus losing the match by a huge margin of 116 runs. Suraj Koul and Akshay Koul contributed 21 runs each.
For 777 Masters, Bhuvi captured 3 wickets by giving away 5 runs in 2 overs, while RK bagged 2 wickets.
For his brilliant batting display, Sidharth Bhat was adjudged Man of the Match.
Anil Bhat, Bureau Chief PTI J&K was the chief guest on the occasion who along with the organizing team honored Sidharth with the man of the match award.
The organizing team included Vinay Koul, Rajeev Pandita, Anil Bushan, Deepak Raina, Rahul Reshi, Rahul Koul, Ashutosh, Chetan Shah, Sahil Sharma, Ritesh, Ashish Kachroo and Ankur Bagati.
