Budgam, May 20: Ahead of the G20 Summit in Kashmir, the Municipal Committee of Gulmarg and Tangmarg has installed various wooden signage boards at various locations in the Tangmarg area.
Executive officer of the Municipal Committee Tangmarg and Gulmarg, Naveed Ahmad Khan, told Rising Kashmir that for the beautification of the Tangmarg area, the Municipal Committee Tangmarg and Gulmarg have installed various wooden signage boards across the Tangmarg area.
“We have installed the wooden signage boards in the government offices, public places, gardens, public venues, commercial sports, parking places, and many other places,” he said.
Khan said that on these wooden signage boards, the names of the government departments, public places, and other messages have been properly mentioned, which are looking more attractive and adding to the beauty of the Tangmarg area.
“We have already completed the various development-related works through which the whole MC Committee of Tangmarg and Gulmarg is looking very attractive for tourists and visitors. Gulmarg and Tangmarg are tourist destinations in the Kashmir valley, and where thousands of tourists are coming on a daily basis to visit these two places in the area,” Khan said.
Earlier, the Gulmarg Development Authority (GDA) also installed wooden signage boards along the vital Magam-Gulmarg road.
