Srinagar, June 02: Cluster University Srinagar, in collaboration with Human Welfare Voluntary Organization and J&K Bank, is set to host the ‘International Conference on Gender Sensitization: Rights, Policies and Issues’ on June 5th and 6th, 2023. The conference, in line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy-2020, aims to create awareness and foster discussions on gender sensitivity.
With the participation of esteemed academicians, research scholars, policymakers, and representatives from various higher educational institutions, the conference will provide a platform to delve into the multifaceted aspects of gender sensitivity. It will encourage fruitful debates and the exchange of valuable insights to tackle challenges related to gender equality.
The inaugural event of the conference, to be held at the auditorium of Govt. College for Women, M.A. Road, Srinagar, will commence at 10:30 AM on June 5th, with Shri Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar (Advisor B to Lt. Governor) gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. The valedictory ceremony, scheduled for 2:30 PM on June 6th, will be honored by Prof. A. Ravinder Nath (Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Central University of Kashmir) as the Chief Guest.
