Srinagar, July 25: In a significant operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) successfully neutralized a Pakistani narcotics smuggler during the intervening night of July 24 and 25. The encounter took place in the Ramgarh sector of Samba along the international border.
According to a BSF spokesman, vigilant troops detected the smuggler’s attempt to transport narcotics through the sensitive border area. In response, they took decisive action, resulting in the elimination of the suspect.
Upon conducting an initial search of the area, the BSF recovered four packets of suspected narcotics, weighing approximately 4 kilograms, along with the body of the Pakistani smuggler.
The security forces are continuing their search of the area for any additional evidence or accomplices involved in the smuggling attempt. Further details will be shared as the investigation progresses.
