March 30: The District Fencing Championship 2022-23 organized by District Kulgam Fencing Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council under the banner of J&K Amateur Fencing Association, concluded with awards distribution ceremony among the winners and runners ups of the championship.
The sportspersons of various age categories (Sub Junior, Junior and Senior) from Kulgam district participated. The competitions were held from Wednesday at Multi-Purpose Indoor Sports Hall Khudwani Kulgam.
Bashir Ahmad Incharge Manager, Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall Khudwani Kulgam, J&K Sports Council, Abdul Ahad, Vice Prsident Volleyball Association of J&K, A R Ahangar and Syed Ashiq Hussain, was the chief guest and Guest of Honours on the inaugural & concluded function respectively distributed medals among the winners and runners ups and also Omer Mukhtar District Secretary, District Kulgam Fencing Association were also present during the closing ceremony. More than 80 players are participated in the said event.
