JAMMU, Apr 28: The JK UT BJP is making every effort to make the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ a grand event that will be heard by over 5 lakh people across the UT in various booths of Assembly segments and panchayat Ghars in both Jammu and Kashmir regions.
This was informed by BJP President, J&K UT, Ravinder Raina during a press briefing at party’s headquarters, Jammu, on Friday. Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta was also present .
“Around 5000 booths in Jammu region and more than 500 booths in Kashmir region in different Assembly segments are being readied where people will collectively listen to PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Raina said.
The 100th episode of PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will be aired on AIR on April 30.
Raina said that more than 5 lakh people would listen to the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that BJP activists have been working tirelessly to make the 100th episode a grand success.
Raina said that during all his previous programmes of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the PM Modi has many a time highlighted the issues and success stories of the people of J&K, which, he said, “is a matter of pride and also indicates the PM’s connect to J&K and his concern for the people of this UT”.
Raina appreciated the BJP activists for making the dedicated efforts to arrange such public programmes on a massive scale so that common masses could be able to listen to the programme collectively.
NGOs, social, religions, students and business organizations have also arranged to listen to the programme, he said.
The programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was first aired on the October 3, 2014 on the auspicious day of Vijay Dashmi and till then it being addressed by PM Modi last Sunday of every month.
