Woman dies after being hit by train in Budgam

BUDGAM: A 55-year-old woman died after being hit by a moving train in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday.
An official from the Police Station Budgam told the Rising Kashmir that a 55-year-old woman from Galwanpora Budgam was coming back from her agricultural land towards her home. “After she reached the railway track, she was hit by a moving train, which was coming from Baramulla towards Budgam, which resulted in her death,” an official said.
He identified the deceased woman as Raja Begum, wife of Late Abdul Rashid, 55 years of age, resident of Galwanpora Budgam.
