Jammu, Mar 04: The members of the field staff of the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) are the pillars of the Department and the resource persons serve like beacon lights to guide and goad the freshers and the children even in the adverse situations.
This was stated by the Director Youth Services and Sports, Subash Chander Chibber during the concluding ceremony of the Refresher Course for Physical Education Masters (PEMs), PETs and REK’s at Youth Hostel Nagrota, here.
Chibber was the chief guest on the occasion, while Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports (Central), Jitender Mishra was the guest of honour.
Earlier, Kharati Lal, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu alongwith Course Incharge, Virender Sharma welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lavished praise on the organisers for organising the Course in a most befitting manner and also appreciated the Camp Incharge and the resource persons and the trainees for doing a fabulous job during a week-long Course.
The resource persons and the trainees were presented with the tracksuits by the chief guest and the guest of honour as a token of appreciation from the Department.
The Campers were all praise for the Department for this initiative.
