Mehbooba visits Sagar’s residence, expresses condolence

Srinagar, Aug 11: PDP president and former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Friday visited the residence of late Nazir Ahmed Charloo, the younger brother of NC general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar and the uncle of NC youth president Salman Ali Sagar.
According to a statement, Mehbooba was accompanied by PDP leader and constituency in-charge Habba Kadal Arif Laigaroo.
Mufti while condoling the demise expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the members of the bereaved family. “The deceased was a noble soul who earned the love and admiration of the people for his straightforwardness, sense of community service, innate simplicity and honesty. He was a noble human being, polite, humble and has always remained social and helpful to the community and society in general,” the statement quoted her as saying.
The leaders who attended the condolence meeting include Sameer Ul Jameel, Fayaz Rah, Aman Zargar, Shiekh Numan, Shaista Mir, Gowhar Yaseen, Suhaib and others. They prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and patience for the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
