Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday clarified that there is no child kidnapping gang active in Srinagar district and requested general public not to pay heed to such unverified and fake news.
In a tweet, Srinagar Police wrote, “There is a mischievous rumour doing round about some child kidnapping gang active in Srinagar. It is clarified that no incident of child kidnapping has taken place in Srinagar district in recent past. General public is requested not to pay heed to such unverified and fake news.”
