A medical camp was organised by 75 Battalion, CRPF at Indra Nagar, Srinagar. Sh K K Pandey, Comdt supervised the medical camp, which lasted for whole day. He interacted with the local populace on the occasion and conveyed that CRPF medical assistance will always be at the service of the women, children, elderly and the general public.
He further added that it gives an immense pride to fulfill its social responsibility which is not only an opportunity to connect with the people but also an assurance to the awaam that 75 Battalion is commited to the concerns of the society. He also assured that such camps will continue to be organised in future as part of its social commitment under the able guidance of Srinagar sector.
The camp was aligned to the needs of the local population where medical advice was rendered by Dr. Rose Maria Jose, MO 75, Dr Masood GDMO. In addition, free medicines were also made available to the beneficiaries.
The camp recieved an overwhelming response from all sections of the society, who approached the medical team for advice and medicines. Local public welcomed the initiative and appreciated the gesture of the Force personnel.
75 Battalion is not only devoted to serve the nation with valour and grit, but also committed to reach out the local population in its area of deployement and render them necessary assistance and help, beyond the call of duty.
