Sisodia, Satyendar Jain’s arrest based on Political Vendetta: AAP

Jammu, March 24: The Jammu unit of Aam Aadmi Party on Friday organized a peaceful protest demonstration at Dogra chowk near Jammu press Club to condemn the arrest of former Deputy CM Sh. Manish Sisodia and health minister Satyendar Jain.
        Protesting against the arrest of top leaders of Aam Aadmi Party, the protesters termed the arrest as part of the Modi Govt’s political vendetta. 
The AAP leaders including female activists stood in a long queue at M. A. Stadium main gate with black ribbons on their shoulders and holding placards and banners in their hands having slogans written on them to condemn the arrests.
        Speaking on the occassion, senior leader Maj. Gen. (Retd), R. S. Jamwal condemns the Modi regime for arresting AAP   leaders in, what they claim, false cases to defame the pro- people mission of Kejriwal.
Jamwal added that the arrest of former AAP ministers merely as a result of political enmity to stop the healthcare of poor and education of Dalits.  “BJP never wants education of poor as it is merely keen to exploit the poverty for a paid vote bank,” Jamwal further alleged.
Another AAP’s senior leader Mr. Farooq Ahmed Banday criticized Modi Govt for filing ED sponsored manipulated FIRs against the former AAP ministers while taking the benefit of SC ruling where ED can arrest any defaulter without any bail for one year. Banday further said that Jain and Sisodia are in jail because of BJP’s conspiracies. This is unfortunate for the whole of India, because both of them were known for their work in not just Delhi or India but in the world.
      Hitting out at the BJP-led government at the centre, Nirmal Mahna, the female spokesperson of AAP said that the arrest of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia by CBI and ED was an assault on democracy,
She said that Sisodia was arrested on the flimsy pretext of non-cooperation and the Modi government has used the Institutions of CBI and ED to pursue its politics of vendetta.
She further said, “Having lost the MCD elections & the bid to capture the Mayoral posts by hook or crook, the BJP regime has now resorted to this unscrupulous misuse of the Central agencies, at a time when the whole world is questioning the Modi government’s conspicuous silence about the Adani scam and its refusal to probe this monument corporate fraud, the government is desperately trying to terrorize the opposition, the AAP leader alleged.
