DLSA Shopian organizes fire safety awareness prog

Shopian, March 11: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian in collaboration with Fire and Emergency Department, Shopian on Saturday organized an awareness-cum-demonstration programme on Fire Safety at the District Court premises Shopian. The programme was organised under the supervision of Chairman DLSA, who is also Principal District & Sessions Judge Shopian.
District & Sessions Judge Shopian, Secretary/Sub judge DLSA Shopian, Chief Judicial Magistrate Shopian, Bar Members, Court Staff, DLSA Staff and a large number of people were present on the occasion. The training programme was imparted to the court staff regarding the rescue operations at the time of fire incidents.
The Fire and Emergency Services Department presented a demo for the rescue operations by constituting separate teams i.e. rescue team, primary first aid team, search operation team and transportation team. Each team performed functions very efficiently and effectively. Chairman DLSA Shopian thanked the department for imparting the training to the court officials and the general public.
