SSP Awantipora assures police martyrs’ NOKs of all possible help

Srinagar, March 25: Police in Awantipora organised an interaction meeting with NOKs of police martyrs in the District Police Lines Awantipora.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmed Zargar, DySP DAR DPL Awantipora and I/C Savera Cell. The meeting was attended by NOKs of Police Martyrs of Police District Awantipora.
“During the meeting, SSP Awantipora took stock of the welfare of the families of police martyrs who laid their precious lives in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. Rich tributes were paid to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the sake of the nation,” a police spokesperson said in a statement.
The SSP assured the NOKs of every possible help as and when required. He informed the participants about various welfare measures that are being taken by the police department for the welfare of the NOKs, and that the police are committed to providing all possible assistance to the families of police martyrs.
“NOKs of police martyrs expressed their satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond. The chairing officer reiterated that the grievances that were raised will be duly looked into and necessary correspondence will be made with concerned authorities for their timely redressal,” the spokesperson said.
