The Rangdum area of Kargil district recieved fresh snowfall while plain areas of Kashmir witnessed scattered rains.
An official told Rising Kashmir that the Rangdum area in Kargil experienced fresh snowfall since early this morning.
Furthermore he said that, about 4 to 5 inch inches of fresh snowfall was recorded at the said place while in Kashmir’s lower reachs including Summer Capital Srinagar received scattered rainfall from Friday.
The change in the climate disturbed the normal life in the lower reaches and upper reaches.
Due to climate change people have started wearing warm clothes and utilizing the heaters in vehicles.
