Srinagar:- Leader of Opposition (LoP) Sunil Sharma while commenting on the June 3 meeting of the Chief Minister said, there is no question of Omar resigning.
“Even if there is Kashmir Autonomous Hill Development Council (KAHDC) on the lines of LAHDC and Omar becomes its executive councillor, he won’t resign. Remember my prediction, next seven generations of Abdullah family won’t resign from power,” he said.
Sharma, said the family that is responsible for the blood of “50,000 Kashmiri youth” will never prefer to resign. “Omar will prefer any post but he won’t like to see even one vehicle cut from his cavalcade,” he said. “For 36 years, this family drenched the Valley with the blood of innocents.” However, he said that the “Abdullah family” is on the verge of split and June 3 will be the NC government’s last meeting.
As legislators prepare to assemble at Gupkar on June 3, all eyes will be on the outcome of the meeting and any message that emerges from what is shaping up to be one of the most closely watched political gatherings in the Valley in recent months.
