Srinagar, Sep 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said that they have arrested the accused person for attempting to snatch the chain from a lady in the Nowgam area.
The police said that the accused person, namely Rayees Ahmad Dagroo Son of Mohd Ismail Dagroo, a resident of Ichkoot village in the Budgam district, has been arrested for attempted chain snatching from a lady in the Nowgam area on September 19th this month.
“The Scooty used by the accused was also seized,” the police said.
An FIR Number 148/2023 under Sections 392,511 and 323 has already been registered in Nowgam Police Station on September 19, 2023.
