Srinagar, Dec 12: The Directorate of Samagra Shiksha J&K is going to organize an exposure tour for 400 medical students from Government schools in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
The tour will be conducted in a phased manner starting from December 20th of this month.
Deep Raj, Project Director of Samagra Shiksha J&K told the Rising Kashmir that Samagra Shiksha J&K is going to organize an exposure tour for the 400 medical students from 11th and 12th grades will participate in this tour.
“The students will be taken to IIT Kanpur in four phases, with 200 students from Kashmir division and 200 students from Jammu division,” Project Director said.
He said that During the tour, the students will gain valuable knowledge about invention-related subjects and activities outside of Jammu and Kashmir. They will also have the opportunity to visit various labs and laboratories. The expenses for this tour will be fully covered by Samagra Shiksha, J&K, so the students will not have to spend their own money.
Deep Raj further said that the tour will also help students acquire knowledge in the field of innovation. They will be encouraged to develop their own innovation projects in their schools, thus promoting innovation-related fields within the education system.
