The strategic 434Km Srinagar-Leh highway was re-opened for traffic after remaining closed for few hours due to fresh snowfall at Zojila pass.
As per Reports The highway was closed on Tuesday early morning due to Fresh Snowfall at Several places of Zojila Pass including Minamarg ,Bajri Nallah Shaitani Nallah, following which the road was closed as a precautionary measure, said officials.
He said that vehicles were allowed from Minamarg side to move on the 434-kilometre road with the improvement in weather.
Kargil Police wrote on “X Platform” Due to improvement in weather conditions across Zojila, traffic has now been released from Minamarg towards Srinagar.
