Jammu, Aug 26: Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, will be holding Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 – an awareness and outreach program – simultaneously at three venues across the two union territories on August 28, Monday.
The venues are DC Office, Samba; Khyber Industries, Khunmoh, Srinagar; Sindh Public School, Sheynam, Leh.
The programme aims to provide access to the stakeholders at doorsteps and to facilitate service deliveries in an effective manner, the EPFO said in a statement, adding, “Open session would be available to all attendees for raising their queries, sharing their views and issues being faced. The programme is being organized in association with District Administration.”
“The employers and employees of the aforementioned areas would be sensitised about provisions of social security, besides covering themes of filing a grievance, how to file a grievance on EPFiGMS, other grievance filing provisions e.g. CPGRAMS, other portals; education on Digital Services (UMANG, Digi Locker, etc.); awareness and fraud prevention; and rights of employees in respect of employers,” the statement said.
The aim of the program is to ensure broad-based participation, awareness grievance redressal and an information exchange network closer to the stakeholders of EPFO.
The PF Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin informed that the subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employees’ representatives, and industrial chambers are advised to actively participate in Nidhi Aapke Nikat Program. The programme at Samba, Srinagar, and Leh would be addressed by the District Nodal Officers Bipin Kumar, Suhail Khan and Pawan Kumar respectively.
