Srinagar, Oct 23: The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) conducted an orientation program in preparation for the upcoming State Educational Achievement Survey (SEAS) 2023, slated to take place on November 03 across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
This session, designed for DIET principals, district-level coordinators, and associate coordinators, aimed to ensure a seamless and efficient execution of the survey.
Under the guidance of Principal Secretary Alok Kumar and Director of SCERT-JK, Prof Parikshat Singh Manhas, the SCERT organized the orientation program. The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi, operating under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is set to conduct the SEAS in collaboration with SCERTs for students in classes 3rd, 6th, and 9th, nationwide.
According to an official statement from SCERT, the orientation program focused on providing necessary guidelines and information to the key stakeholders involved in the survey.
In addition to the training of DIET principals, district-level coordinators, and associate coordinators, a similar program is scheduled for field investigators on October 27, an official said.
