Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment, Dheeraj Gupta, today chaired a mega public darbar at Parwah panchayat in Marh block to assess the public grievances besides reviewing development profile of the area.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Additional District Development Commissioner, Sher Singh besides other senior officers were present on the occasion.
The event also witnessed participation of public representatives including DDC member Balbir Lal, BDC Chairman Marh, former PRI representatives and others.
Prominent issues highlighted in the public darbar included dilapidated condition of roads, repair of irrigation canals, installation of grates for field protection, infrastructural improvement in local schools, upgraded facilities in SDH, consistent power supply for farming activities and development of sports infrastructure in the block besides coverage of left out beneficiaries under PMAY, availability of veterinary facilities and dispensaries for the local population.
