Dr Farooq, Omar, Bukhari condole demise of Imam Dargah Hazratbal

Srinagar, Aug 29: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of the Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief over the demise of Imam Asar-e-Sharif Dargah, Hazratbal Moulana Syed Ahmad Farooqi sahib.
In their condolence message, the duo termed the demise of Imam Asar-e-Sharif Dargah Hazratbal Moulana Sayeed Ahmed Farooqi a great loss for society. They said the deceased will be remembered for his insightful knowledge of matters of theology and spirituality. The duo prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of Jannat and much-required fortitude to the bereaved household at this difficult time.
Meanwhile, party general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, additional general secretary Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, District President Peer Afaq Ahmed, YNC Provincial President Kashmir Salman Ali Sagar, Senior functionary of District Srinagar Dr. Syed and others visited the bereaved family to offer sympathies and condolences to them on their inconsolable loss.
The party functionaries offered fatiha and prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest realms of Jannat.
Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari in his condolence message, said, “I extend my heartfelt condolences to Moulana Sayeed Ahmad Farooqi Sahib’s family over his demise. He was a pious man who served in the esteemed position of Imam-o-Khateeb of Dargah Hazratbal for quite a long time. He lived in the hearts of people, as he always guided them on the path of religion and spiritual enlightenment.”
“May Allah rest his noble soul at the highest place in Jannah and shower His choicest blessings on Moulana’s grave. May Allah give Maulana’s grieving family the patience to bear the pain of this irreparable loss,” Bukhari added.
