AP welcomes prominent political activist into party

Srinagar, Mar 11: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party witnessed the joining of a prominent political activist into the party fold from Boniyar of Uri constituency, the party said on Monday.
The known political activist Abdul Rashid Abbasi, previously affiliated with Congress as its former Halqa President, joined the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party in the presence of party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari at the party’s Central Office M2 Church Lane Srinagar, the AP said in a statement.
The other party members present on the occasion included DDC Chittragam Shopian Nageena Ji, DDC Devsar Reyaz Ahmad, Incharge Chrar-e-Shareef constituency Mushtaq Zuhami, Constituency Coordinator Uri Farooq Ahmad Tantray, District Secretary Srinagar Peer Wajahat Nabi, and others.
Abbasi was warmly welcomed into the party fold and briefed about its agenda of peace, prosperity, and development of Jammu and Kashmir.
