Doda, Aug 07: In a significant move to strengthen grassroots outreach under Mission YUVA, a series of orientation cum training programmes were conducted across District Doda. The events were held at the Conference Hall, Doda and Dak Bungalow Thathri.According to a statement issued here, the orientation sessions aimed to build the capacities of Business Help Desks (BHDs) and YUVA Doots—the key field functionaries responsible for implementing Mission YUVA’s objectives at the sub-district level. A total of 99 YUVA Doots and members of BHDs from all five sub-divisions—Assar, Doda, Bhaderwah, Thathri and Gandoh participated enthusiastically in the training sessions, along with Small Business Development Units (SBDUs).The first session, held at Conference Hall, Doda,was graced by Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh and Joint Director Employment Jammu, Paramjeet Singh. Both officers addressed the participants and emphasised the transformative potential of Mission YUVA in linking unemployed youth with livelihood opportunities through skill-building, financial linkages and counselling.Key resource persons included Deputy Director Employment Rafiq Ahmad Jaral, Employment Officer Imtiaz Ali and District Coordinator JK Bank Bua Dutta. A doubt-clearing session was also conducted by Branch Managers from JK Bank Bhaderwah, Assar and Main Branch Doda.The training covered the entire Mission YUVA module, including roles and responsibilities of SBDUs, BHDs and YUVA Doots, usage of the Mission YUVA mobile application, IEC planning, counselling and registration on employment portals.A similar orientation session was held at Dak Bungalow, Thathri.
