DDC reviews preparations for Har Ghar Tiranga campaign

Doda, Aug 06: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Harvinder Singh, Wednesday chaired a meeting at the Mini Meeting Hall, DC Office Complex Doda to review preparations for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in the district.A statement issued here said that the meeting was attended by ADDC Doda Roshan Lal, ADC Doda Anil Kumar Thakur, CPO Doda Manesh Kumar, ACP Doda Musharif Ali Haf, Deputy Director Employment Rafiq Ahmed Jaral, CEO Doda Mohammad Hanief, DIO Doda Tariq Qazi, Project Officer DUDA, EO MC Doda, Cultural Officer, District Programme Manager NRLM and other concerned officers. Several officers also joined the meeting virtually. It was informed that Tiranga Rallies will be organised across all blocks of Doda from August 9 to 11, promoting patriotism and unity among the public. The campaign will culminate in a Mega Tiranga Mela at Community Hall Doda on August 12, featuring cultural performances, exhibitions and awareness activities. The DDC directed all departments to ensure meticulous planning and maximum public participation. He instructed coordination with schools, colleges, panchayats and urban local bodies. He emphasised wide publicity through cultural events, awareness drives and social media to instil a spirit of patriotism among citizens. He also stressed close inter-departmental coordination and timely completion of arrangements to ensure the campaign is celebrated with full enthusiasm across the district.
