Jammu, Jul 29: Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organisation), of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday said the party’s strength lies in its robust organisational structure and continuous connect with the people.“Every party activist must take the message of Modi ji’s good governance to the last person in the queue. Seva (service), Sushasan (good governance), and Garib Kalyan (welfare of the poor) are not mere slogans but the identity of this government. Every activist must act as a bridge between the government’s achievements and the public,” he said while addressing an organisational review meeting of the BJP District Jammu led by its president Adv Rajesh Gupta, at the party office here.Koul called upon the mandal teams to remain active, aware, and accessible to the people at all times. The meeting, according to a party statement issued here, reviewed the organisational structure and various programmes conducted under the “Seva, Sushasan aur Garib Kalyan” campaign, commemorating 11 years of pro-people, transparent, and development-driven governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Koul chaired the meeting and took a detailed review of the programs held at the district and mandal levels under the campaign. MLAs Yudhvir Sethi and Arvind Gupta, former Mayor Rajinder Sharma, former Corporator Parmod Kapahi, Vistarak Inderjeet, District General Secretaries Ravi Kant Sharma and Suneet Raina, along with senior leaders and members of the District and Mandal teams, participated in the meeting.Addressing the meeting, the General Secretary (Org) inquired about the participation, outreach strategy, feedback from the ground, and upcoming planned activities. He held a comprehensive discussion on the organisational structure at the mandal level, highlighting the importance of strengthening the party’s foundation at the grassroots.“All speakers echoed the need for intensified outreach at the booth level and pledged full commitment to strengthening the party in every mohalla and panchayat of Jammu district,” the statement said, adding, “The meeting concluded with a unanimous resolve to uphold the vision and mission of the BJP and further energise the ongoing public welfare campaign.”
