Three School Buildings Damaged in fire in Kulgam

At least three buildings of a government school were damaged in a midnight blaze in the Brinal area of Devsar in Kulgam district, officials said on Tuesday.

Zonal Educational Officer Devsar, Ghulam Nabi Dar, told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a fire broke out in the school late last night in which two buildings of GMC Dangerpora Brinal, and another old building were damaged.

The ZEO said the school has an enrollment of around 150 students, who are being shifted to the fourth building of the school until proper arrangements are made.

He said they have filed a complaint with the police, while cause of the fire is being ascertained—(KNO)
