Selection Trials Announced for Pencak Silat Federation Cup 2025

Trials to be held in Srinagar on July 29, juniors & seniors urged to register by July 20

Srinagar, July 13: The Pencak Silat Association of Jammu & Kashmir has announced that selection trials for the 9th Pencak Silat Federation Cup 2025 will be conducted on July 29, 2025, at the Indoor Stadium, Polo Ground, Srinagar.A statement issued here said that the trials are open to both junior boys and girls, as well as senior men and women, across various weight categories and event formats. The event categories include Tanding (Match/Fighting), Tunggal (Single Artistic Performance), Ganda (Two-Player Artistic Team), Regu (Three-Player Artistic Team) and Solo (Single Artistic).As for the eligibility and requirements, junior participants must carry a valid date of birth certificate and two passport-size photographs. All interested players must register through their respective district associations by or before July 20. No entries will be accepted after the deadline. Selected athletes will appear before the screening committee on July 30. The trials will be conducted under the supervision of official observers from the J&K Sports Council.
