Guru Purnima: J&K BJP leaders seek blessings from spiritual gurus

Jammu, July 10: On the auspicious occasion of Shree Guru Purnima, senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu and Kashmir, paid visits to various spiritual and religious Gurus across the region, seeking blessings and paying homage to the eternal wisdom of the Guru tradition.J&K BJP President Sat Sharma visited Mahant Shri Shri 1008 Rameshwar Das Ji at Shree Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi, Jammu and received his blessings. He was accompanied by BJP Headquarters Incharge Priya Sethi, senior leader Thakur Narain Singh, District President Jammu Adv. Rajesh Gupta, and other party workers. Sat Sharma also felicitated Param Pujya Shri Gangadhar Ji Maharaj and renowned Sanskrit scholar Padma Shri Prof. Vishwamurti Shastri and sought their blessings.Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said, “Guru Purnima reminds us of the eternal place of Gurus in our lives who show us the path of righteousness, duty, and devotion. Today, as we strive to build a strong and spiritually awakened Bharat, the guidance of saints and scholars becomes ever more vital.”Leader of the Opposition in J&K Assembly, Sunil Sharma, visited Param Pujya Shri Shri 1008 Goswami Guru Rakesh Bali Ji Maharaj at Gadigarh, Jammu, and received his blessings along with party workers. BJP District Jammu South President Naresh Singh Jasrotia also joined the visit.Sunil Sharma, speaking after the visit, said, “The values of Sanatan Dharma, as imparted by our Gurus, serve as the foundation for a just and inclusive society. BJP draws strength from these values to serve the people selflessly”Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organisation), J&K BJP, visited Mahant Shri Mahadev Ji at Har Ki Pauri and received blessings. He was accompanied by MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa. In his message, Koul said, “Guru Purnima is a day to renew our commitment to knowledge, service, and humility. Saints and Gurus are the true torchbearers of our spiritual and cultural heritage.”Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Lok Sabha) visited Mahamandaleshwar Sant Shri Rameshwar Das Ji Maharaj, Dr Satya Narayan Das Ji Maharaj and the Sadhu community who had come to visit Baba Shri Amarnath Ji at Shri Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi, Jammu and received their blessings. He, along with District President Nand Kishore, also visited Jagdamba Temple, Nagarota to receive the blessings of Swami Shri Ashutosh Ji Maharaj.Adv. Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary J&K BJP, visited Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Swami Aksharananda Giri Ji Maharaj of Paramadhyaksha Shri Panchayati Mahanirvani Akhara at Shri Niranjan Sanyas Vedanta Ashram located in Pati village of district Samba and received his blessings. District President Asha Rani was present on this occasion.Similarly, all the senior party leaders, along with party cadre, visited various religious and spiritual Gurus to mark the auspicious occasion.
