In a tragic incident, two carpenters lost their lives after falling from the rooftop of a three-storey building in Daharmunah area at Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday.
A Police official from Police Post Soibugh told Rising Kashmir the two carpenters from Daharmunah village were working on the rooftop of the three storey building into their native village.
“Both carpenters fell from the rooftop and sustained injuries. They were immediately taken to the Primary Health Centre in Soibugh and later shifted to SKIMS at JVC Bemina for better treatment. Unfortunately, both of them succumbed to their injuries,” official said.
The deceased carpenters have been identified as Javid Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Maqbool Dar and Abdul Majeed Reshi, 55 years old, both residents of Daharmunah village.
