He called upon the Power Development Department (PDD) to ensure an uninterrupted power supply during Eid ul Azha.
The Speaker urged market checking squads to intensify their surveillance to prevent any unfair practices. He asked the Animal Husbandry Department to ensure the availability of sacrificial animals at reasonable prices for the public. He suggested setting up sale outlets at the district and tehsil levels to facilitate the purchase of animals for Eid.
Eid ul Azha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice”, is a major Islamic celebration observed worldwide by Muslims. The festival commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s (Abraham’s) (AS) willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail (AS) in obedience to God. It also marks the conclusion of the Hajj pilgrimage to Makkah.
