Ganderbal, May 15: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Ganderbal, Oneel Kumar Bhat, on Thursday assured that the vacant posts of lecturers at High School Gagangeer and Higher Secondary School Gund will be filled soon by the department.

Speaking to Rising Kashmir on the sidelines of an event, CEO Bhat said, “The department is actively working to fill the vacant lecturer posts. Until then, the department has allotted Cluster Resource Coordinators (CRCs) to manage teaching responsibilities temporarily.”

He further added that teachers who were previously working under the PGS at primary or middle schools have been shifted in accordance with the Director’s instructions. “This has been done to ensure that students do not face any disruption in their education or have to travel long distances in the absence of subject teachers,” Bhat said.

The CEO emphasized the department’s commitment to providing uninterrupted education and minimizing the academic impact on students due to staff shortages.
